I accept most commissions if you have a special painting you would like. This might include a vacation or honeymoon picture; a painting of your cottage; or a theme that has special meaning to you. I generally ask for 4 or 5 photos to choose from; what makes a good memory doesn’t always make a good painting. I do not accept portrait commissions.
Examples of the painting series I am most commonly requested to return to are seen in the “Red Shoes & Drizzled Fruit” section or Toronto scenes with a streetcar. Several times I have painted from old photographs and am happy to discuss any idea you might have for a commissioned piece.
